Build Description
I specificially build this ship to kill ATR vessels and also because i wanted a shieldless stealth chieftain frame to play around with.
I also have a video of me showcasing it on my channel: https://youtu.be/SbdlE6dmEbs
It basically works by killing their shields with torpedoes and then sniping the powerplant with rails.
So if you dont know what ATR is, its basically beefed up police ships that show up when you keep killing clean ships. The reason why these require a special build to kill is because they are heavily engineered and basically have station weapons on their ships. Its basically lasers with reverberating cascade and scramble spectrum so they kill any shield within seconds.
If you ever got killed by a carrier or station you will know what i am talking about.
As with so many builds you can change out lots of things pretty easily and make it a lot more versatile. For the most part this is just a normal shieldless chieftain. You don’t have to go out of your way to unlock pack hounds, i just put them on there because it allows me to kill drives, it just makes the build a bit more versatile. You can also run a medium or small rail or another torpedo on that slot.
You can probably also use this for pvp but keep in mind that torpedoes are insanely easy to counter/evade and shieldless ships in general are at an disadvantage in elite. So don’t expect to hunt gankers with this exact build or anything and more something to fool around with.
Bonus points for running a black paintjob 😉
If your enemy doesn’t use night vision you might actually get a benefit from it lol.
If you have any questions about the build feel free to ask me on Discord or Inara:

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Fast & maneuverable
- Runs really cold & 15% resting heat
- High survivability
Cons:
- Shieldless, so it suffers from the usual hulltank problems
- Quite specific build so its relatively easy to counter if you know how
Materials Required
The following numbers assume the following rolls required to progress:
Grade 1 rolls - 2
Grade 2 rolls - 4
Grade 3 rolls - 5
Grade 4 rolls - 7
Grade 5 rolls - 10
This can vary greatly since rolls are randomized events, which means these are at best estimates to target.
