Ah yes the Imperial cutter. This particular build was to see how much money and credits I could sink into a single ship. To see that it is over 1.5 billion credits is a little disheartening, that goal achieved. The shields are over 10,000 mega-joules. while I understand higher can be achieved this took quite a bit to get. the engineering on this build is also extensive. The Shield boosters alone cost me more materials than I want to remember. The hardpoints equal all engineered turreted multicannons. They all vary with different engineering mods and experimental effects. the main reason for the turreted multicannons is primarily due to the slow turning speed known with the cutter. seriously, this thing can like drift 5km, no kidding.

But the real reason for this ship, the honest reason, was for nothing more than to bask in the glory of the empire surrounded by shameless excess. As if the Imperial Cutters base model didn’t cry luxury and cost enough, I dumped everything else into this build. The 1.5 billion credits it’s just the start. Prismatic Shields will take you at least a month to get with enough merits, and the amount of materials I used to engineer all that I did I recalled requiring a bunch of time. I call it the imperial destroyer because it is so hard to kill. With over 10,000 and shields it can almost withstand a Thargroid encounter by itself without any Thargoid considerations or engineering – almost. I circled one (have no idea the type) for some time, just tanking the damage through the swarm and blasting the Thargoid with the multicannons. It gave off the f you wave killed the remaining shields and left 25% hull. The end didn’t take long to come after that.

It is just an expensive beast. But I love it.
