Build Description

The purpose of this build was to have a large capacity mining ship, with defensive capabilities that couldn’t stray too far from the Fleet Carrier, as it has no fuel scoop. It also is intended to be for Tritium mining for the Fleet Carrier as well. Basically a multi-purpose mining role. The Corvette seemed an obvious choice for many reasons. It is also maneuverable enough for core mining and abrasion blasting. I find the Huge Hardpoint sufficient enough to dispatch the expected pirates.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Can engage in all forms of mining.
  • Huge Hardpoint can defend against most pirates.

Cons:

  • Needs the safety of a Fleet Carrier, with no fuel scoop.
  • Expensive to build.
