Build Description

This particular build is very good for solo only manual massacre missions in High Res and Haz Zones and low-intensity conflict zones which you can stack missions for lots of cash and bounties, it quickly builds up bounties and kills and requires minimum combat flying skill. The build uses all the hard points with Beam and Pulse Lasers on turrets engineered to Grade 5 long-range + 2 x Homing Missile launchers on the small hardpoints. The shielding is very heavy so this build can take a lot of punishment as well. To use in low res and normal zones take some cargo to attract pirates, set the turrets to Target Only, wait for pirates to scan and attack then lock them up and fire, shields will drop very quickly then finish off with a couple of missiles, repeat. Even with no missiles, the lasers make short work of most enemies and you can engage at generally 3 x the opponent’s range. In High Res and Haz zones take no cargo else you will be jumped by multiple pirates, the shields are very good but not invincible. Search for wanted targets and take them out one at a time, higher-end targets wait for someone else to start shooting then wade in and finish the target off. The beauty of this build is it takes almost no skill, just lock them up and fire all the lasers. The downside is this is an expensive investment and does not pay back quickly the credits spent but it does help you climb the combat rankings to get to those engineers requiring rank to unlock. Also in one on one interdiction, this ship is unbeatable. In open play against skilled players, it is not so good because it is dog slow but the shields and long-range weapons buy you time so it is still formidable – it is best used in Solo mode against NPC enemies though.

Pros and Cons

Materials Required

The following numbers assume the following rolls required to progress:

Grade 1 rolls - 2
Grade 2 rolls - 4
Grade 3 rolls - 5
Grade 4 rolls - 7
Grade 5 rolls - 10

This can vary greatly since rolls are randomized events, which means these are at best estimates to target.
