Build Description

The T7 can be useful, this one is something I grab when I need to bump faction rep or just need mats with bulk passenger missions.

The base template is optimized for max jump range with minimal heat (useful if you need to put a scoop in):
– lightweight armor engineered for heavy duty/deep plating keeps damage to minimal (most notably when you are interdicted and forced to slam into the planet’s atmosphere you are trying to land on, or when taking fire when the shields give way)
-power plant: 2A for light weight and thermal spread
– FSD: G5 with typical max range, thermal spread experimental effect to keep heat down. I considered the pre-engineered FSD however it has much more heat build-up, and since I had plenty of the usual manually engineered G5 FSDs left over when I started getting them for my other ships, decided to use one here and just traded mass manager for thermal spread.
– Thrusters: 5D for light weight, clean tuning to minimize heat and drag drives to give it some getaway punch if interdicted.
– life support / shields and sensors: engineered as light as possible to give it some extra jump range.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

The T7 is very inexpensive to get early on in the game, and insurance cost as well. Great when you don’t want to risk your more expensive builds! This specific one is quite excellent for bulk passenger runs, very helpful for increasing rep in adjacent systems.

Cons:

It is a T7 :)

Materials Required

The following numbers assume the following rolls required to progress:

Grade 1 rolls - 2
Grade 2 rolls - 4
Grade 3 rolls - 5
Grade 4 rolls - 7
Grade 5 rolls - 10

This can vary greatly since rolls are randomized events, which means these are at best estimates to target.
