Build Description
The 5 Plasma FDL is a staple in the PVP meta. Plasma Accelerators offer very nice burst damage, that fits nicely with the 5-second boost cycle, and Thermal Conduit’s +60% damage boost at 150% heat is rivalled only by SRB Rail builds, which are far harder to fly.
This is *the* best PVP ship in the game.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
– The most versatile PVP build in the game
– Offers extremely high burst damage, 60% of which cannot be resisted
– Very high upfront shields means the build is very tough
– 2B bank means one can activate Thermal Conduit on command
Cons:
– 5 plasmas means you open yourself up to bank tanks
– No chaff means it might be weak to 5 gimbal builds, but you can generally overcome this gap with sheer DPS
– It’s not a very good explorer ngl
