Ship Build Purpose

Build Description


A build that is designed to last as long as possible in Hazardous Resource Extraction Sites. It used Plasma Accelerators with Plasma Slug, as well as Beam Lasers with Thermal Vent. The gas tank is the ammo can. The ‘no restock’ is in its name so I remember NOT to restock the ammo. I have premium ammo on the Plasma Accelerators which will never go away unless I restock ammo at a station. Otherwise, I have infinite premium 30% ammo. Two thermal vent beam lasers keep the shop cool.

This along with a Field Maintenance Unit and Repair limpets make this build a wonder for RES areas. The 7C shields recharge quick enough if you need to take a break from a tough fight or go to the bathroom.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  1. 4 Plasma Accelerators with Plasma Slug and 30% premium ammo = infinite powerful overcharged weapon.
  2. Because of Power Slug (sipping your fuel for ammo) and the fact the Corvette has a big tank, this makes a TON of ammo for whatever encounter you have.
  3.  The thermal vent beam lasers keep the shop nice and cool.
  4. The fast charge Bi-weave is strong and rebuilds quickly enough.
  5. Repair limpets and Auto Field Maintenance Units are there for repair, to persist.
  6. Great for the new bounty buff, collecting materials, and gaining combat rank.

Cons:

  1. Because it uses Plasma Accelerators the fixed aspect of this hardpoint is naturally more difficult to utilize.
  2. You also have to remember NOT to restock your ammo at stations. Selenium is hard to come by and it takes 5 units to synthesis premium ammo. One small slip and you loose your advantage.
  3. This build assumes the grind requirements of rank, materials, credits, and engineering have all been met. The investment of time this requires should not be understated.
