This ship was designed for long-term autonomy. With a generator based on reliability and better cooling, reinforced AFM, drones for repair and sampling, a large hold for sample recovery and carrying everything the pilot wants for his long trips, increased protection of the modules, a shield and honorable armament for an exploration ship. It is suitable for teams with its 4 VRS and its short-range fighter. The latter can be used both for ship defense and ground reconnaissance.
Despite its size which makes piloting and particularly landing on uneven terrain difficult, an automatic landing module is installed to overcome this problem.
The original version is equipped with a FSD 6A v.1 (optimal mass 3182.4T), but any other reactor can be installed. The same goes for the detailed surface scanner which is originally a Sirius Corp model.
The weapons have been designed for the best weight/consumption/damage ratio. And ammo can be synthesized to increase damage. Anti-gimbal and anti-missile countermeasures cover the entire ship for total protection. And a pair of railguns are present for precision shooting and a fuel drop in case the weight is too much for a jump.
Pros and Cons
Pros :
– Maximum autonomy.
– Numerous tools, vehicles and large hold.
– Correct Defense and Riposte.
– Range of 80ly when empty (with FSD 6A v.1)
– Assisted navigation and landing.
Cons:
– Very expensive to purchase, insurance and maintenance.
– Unwieldy, slow and difficult to land without assistance.
– Requires a lot of time spent by engineers for full potential.
Materials Required
The following numbers assume the following rolls required to progress:
Grade 1 rolls - 2
Grade 2 rolls - 4
Grade 3 rolls - 5
Grade 4 rolls - 7
Grade 5 rolls - 10
This can vary greatly since rolls are randomized events, which means these are at best estimates to target.
